How to Schedule Your NYC Consultation

Scheduling your consultation is easy. Our Patient Care Coordinators will assist you in arranging a convenient time during Dr. Leong’s next visit to New York City. Once your appointment is confirmed, we will send you a welcome email with the appointment details, directions to the consultation location (shared individually), and a medical history form you can fill out in advance to save time.

Your initial consultation is an essential step toward achieving your desired results. During this one-hour session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Discuss your concerns, goals, and vision for your treatment
Ask any questions you may have regarding the procedure
Learn about the personalized treatment plan that Dr. Leong recommends for you

You will have the chance to view before-and-after photos of previous patients, which will give you a clear understanding of the exceptional results Dr. Leong achieves. By the end of your consultation, you and Dr. Leong will establish clear, realistic expectations and goals to ensure your treatment is a success.

Consultation Fee

Please note there is a consultation fee of $190 for your visit with Dr. Leong. This fee is credited toward any future treatments you may choose to pursue with us.

We understand that making decisions about your face and appearance can take time. If you have additional questions or need further clarification after your initial consultation, we offer a follow-up consultation to ensure that you’re completely comfortable and confident before proceeding. This visit allows you to:

Ask any lingering questions you may have.
Review the proposed treatment plan again.
Finalize your decision on moving forward.

If you decide to proceed with the treatment, we will complete the necessary pre-op paperwork and take before photos to document your progress. During this session, we will also review any pre-surgical instructions, including requirements like blood work, ECG, or clearance from your primary care provider, depending on the procedure.

Preparing for Surgery

Once you’ve made the decision to move forward, we will finalize the details for your surgery. All procedures are performed at Dr. Leong’s accredited surgical center in Pittsburgh, where you’ll receive the highest level of safety and care. The facility is located just a short flight from JFK or LaGuardia airport. Our team will help coordinate the logistics to ensure your experience is smooth from consultation to recovery.

Surgery Day

On the day of your surgery, you will check in and prepare for your procedure. Dr. Leong will personally meet with you and review any final details before surgery begins. Your anesthesiologist will also meet with you to discuss anesthesia and ensure there are no concerns. After your procedure, you will be monitored in the recovery area to ensure you are comfortable and awake before being escorted to your private room.

If your recovery requires an overnight stay, Dr. Leong will personally check on you the following morning to ensure you’re healing well before being discharged. In the rare case of any medical complications, the hospital staff is fully equipped to address any issues immediately.

Post-Operative Care and Visits

Following your procedure, you will have several post-op visits with Dr. Leong to monitor your healing process and ensure that you are progressing well. These visits are scheduled during Dr. Leong’s return trips to NYC, offering a convenient way to stay connected and supported throughout your recovery. During these appointments, Dr. Leong will remove any sutures or drains (if applicable) and track your healing for the best possible outcome. For some procedures, it may take several months for swelling to subside fully, and in the case of rhinoplasty, subtle swelling may persist for up to a year. At each visit, you will have the chance to compare your before-and-after photos and see your amazing transformation!
